Industry professionals—including insurance companies, law enforcement, state police, and other state agencies—are required to report suspected fraudulent activities when:

  • They have reason to believe a fraudulent insurance transaction has occurred or is likely to occur.

  • They encounter evidence of fraud during investigations or claim evaluations.

Private Citizen Reporting

Private citizens, including members of the public, can report suspected cases of fraud using the following options:
